Thank you for considering NeighborWorks® of Western Vermont to finance the Energy Improvements to your home.

Your application must be filled out completely before we can process it. You can download a Packet and Application, or call to request a packet and application be mailed to you. Please feel free to give us a call if you would like assistance with, or have questions about the application.

Your loan amount is based on your Home Energy Check-Up report. Your ability to repay a loan is based on income, debt, and credit, and will determine your eligibility for our loan programs.

Loan Terms:

  • Minimum credit score of 640*
  • Maximum loan amount $15,000
  • Fixed Rate 4.99%, APR 5.504% based on $7,500 financed and $175 closing cost fee**
  • Maximum term of 10 years.

  • Closing Costs $175 which can be financed
  • Six- month payment holiday after closing
*Credit Scores that fall below 640 may require additional documentation.
**Rate 4.99% is fixed with 5.5.04 Annual Percentage Rate (APR). APR assumes $7,500 loan amount, 120 month term and $175 closing cost fee. Rates are not guaranteed and subject to change at any time. Financial incentives received by borrower from Efficiency Vermont will be applied to principal of loan balance.
